About Us

Having started with The Royal Bank of Scotland in 1989, Simon now boasts over 30 years of experience in Banking and Financial services. Nineteen years with RBS included heading up the Edinburgh mortgage shop and a long spell as a Business Relationship manager based in the Scottish Borders. Five years as an independent mortgage broker were followed by spells in corporate tax planning, life assurance and investment before finishing his ‘employed’ career with a three year stint as Shawbrook Bank’s regional development manager for Scotland and the North of England.

Sarah is a trustee of a renowned charitable foundation and has spent most of her career in the voluntary sector. Most recently she has been involved with dementia sufferers which led to the publication of her first book – “Because I know who he is” in 2021 and being appointed family ambassador for the Erskine veterans charity. This background has given her strong organizational and administrative skills and she takes on the administrative, marketing and client management responsibilities for Randolph Thom.
